The Bruno Farm was purchased in 1946 by Matt's great-grandfather, Joseph Bruno, an Italian immigrant.  Leaving beautiful northern Italy for American opportunity in the early 1900's, he had no interest in farming but believed land was always valuable.  Although he never farmed this land, we realize it was his hard work in other business ventures that allow us the opportunity to be stewards of his investment.  We owe many thanks to my great-grandfather, as well as to my grandparents and my parents, who have kept the farm intact since 1946.
